Today’s workout was created by Fitness Specialist, Carrie Pidgeon.
Cookie Cutter Corners-Upper body
Equipment: mat in heavy bag corner, kettlebell for suitcase carry, ask fitness specialist to hang up speed bag.
Track Direction: Depending on the direction the track is moving that day, either do the workout from the top down, or the bottom up for correct corner order. Always start in the heavy bag corner.
Warm up: 5-10 mins of cardio including arms: Arm bike, NuStep, elliptical, rowing machine
Workout:
Corner 1: 1 sets. 7-10 reps:
-Bird dog
-Reach and roll
-Jumping jacks
-30 second Plank (1 rep)
– Suitcase carry (left hand) to corner 2
Corner 2: 1 set. 8-12 reps.
-TRX Row
-TRX T Fly
-Suitcase carry (right) to corner 3
Corner 3: 1 set. 8-12 reps.
-Resistance band lat pulldown
-Resistance band standing chest press
-Resistance band paloff press
– Suitcase carry (left) to corner 4
Corner 4: 1 set.
-Speed bag 30 Right hand/30 Left hand
-Push-ups (wall or floor) Perform as many as you can do with good form.
– Suitcase carry (right) to Corner 1. Repeat circuit jogging or speed walking between corners, no KB.
