1. MEMBERSHIP – Memberships are open to Individuals who have attained the age of eighteen (18) years. Sales of memberships are subject to their availability. It shall be the policy to accept applications for membership from any individual, couple or family without regard to race, sexual orientation, creed, color, age (over 18), religion, disability, ancestry, gender, sex or national origin or other characteristics protected by applicable law.
2. MEMBERSHIP FEES – The Membership Fee of DWC consists of the Reactivation Fee and Monthly Dues. The Reactivation Fee is a mandatory non-refundable fee which must be paid at the time of enrollment. The Reactivation Fee is good for the entire term of the Membership. If a Member cancels his/her membership, the Reactivation Fee must be paid again to rejoin. Monthly Dues are based on the classification and type of Membership, and are charged monthly and in advance. New members who sign up between January 1 – 31, 2018 and pay first month’s dues and reactivation fees (where applicable) will receive a free gift, plus February dues will be discounted to $20.18. Regular dues will resume March 1, 2018. DWC may, from time to time, in its sole discretion increase or otherwise amend the Monthly Dues, Reactivation Fees or other fees it imposes upon Members and guests by giving thirty (30) days prior written notice of the change. The posting of the amendments in conspicuous places in the Facility will constitute written notice for this purpose. Amendments shall become effective on the date specified on the notice, but in no event will they become effective earlier than the end of the thirty (30) day notice period.
3. CANCELLATION – Members also may cancel their Membership for any reason at any time by providing written notice to DWC. If written notice is received by the 20th of the month, the Membership will be terminated at the end of that month. If written notice is received after the 20th of the month, Membership will be terminated at the end of the following month. A Member must complete a Membership Cancellation Form in person at the Member Service Desk or may mail a certified, return receipt requested, signed letter to the attention of the Membership Department. Members are responsible for paying their monthly dues for the period until cancellation becomes effective. Members’ voluntary resignation will be effective after the specified period if all unpaid house charges and past due fees have been paid. No exception will be made to this policy.
