Richard McInnis improved his body age by waking two miles at a fast pace per visit with occasional workouts on the fitness floor.
“I joined Dexter Wellness Center sometime around mid-August of 2018. At my age, I wasn’t looking to build big strapping muscles, but rather ways to keep physically active in a pleasant atmosphere, to maintain my good health,” said Richard
Richard explored all the options at the Center and finally settled on regularly walking the beautiful track to achieve his goal. He would jump on a treadmill or one of the other machines once in a while but found that walking two miles per visit at a fast pace worked for him. Richard would complete his laps around the well-designed tracks while listening to his favorite music on his iPhone®.
“Walking is doing well for my body. No dogs chasing me, no pot-holes, nothing to trip on. Just clear sailing with friendly people who are there for the same purpose . . . to maintain their health. My actual age when I first joined in mid-August of 2018 was 83. My obtainable body age during my assessment on December 26 was 73. Works for me!” said Richard.
