Kamil graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with her B.S. in Exercise Science and soon after became a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. Her passion for health and fitness began at a young age when she was first introduced to team sports and continued to grow throughout her time as an athlete. Several years (and injuries) later, her interests eventually moved towards injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as general health and wellness. Kamil believes that in order to maximize the benefits of exercise it is important to find a way to incorporate it into your daily life in ways that are enjoyable to you. Functional, circuit, and high-intensity intervals are some of Kamil's favorite training styles because both cardiovascular and strength training can be incorporated into a timely session, while also building strength in a functional way that translates to our everyday activities. Kamil works hard to help her clients find their niche and to help them achieve their health and fitness goals by focusing on the importance of education and sustainability. When she's not at the DWC, Kamil enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing and listening to music, and learning everything she can through books, film, and new experiences!
